Automated Feed Systems, or Controllers; as the are more commonly known, provide the most accurate and economic means to maintain your water's chemistry.  The Controller constantly monitors the water and adds only the chemicals needed to maintain your predetermined levels.  This type of chemical feed system eliminates the need to "overfeed" in order to maintain a residual chlorine level in the water. Some states are now mandating that all public facilities have an automated feed system on the pool in order to be open to the public.
